Saab and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) have today extended a contract to provide support and maintenance services for Gripen. The order value amounts to approximately SEK 1.6 billion for the period from 1 April 2021 to 31 December 2022. Saab has booked SEK 1.5 billion of the order value in Q1.

The Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV) has contracted Saab to deliver Trackfire remote weapon stations (RWS) for the Swedish Navy. The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. Saab is expected to supply several batches of RWSs and provide integration and in-service support under the contract, which also includes options for additional systems. FMV contracted Saab to deliver Trackfire remote weapon stations for the Swedish Navy CB90 HSM vessels in September 2017.
